Vanillaware's cult favorite RPGs Muramasa: The Demon Blade and Odin Sphere may be re-released as downloadable ports. The two games are reported to either hit Playstation Network or Xbox Live Arcade, which are certainly different from their retail releases in the past.

Odin Sphere was originally released on the Playstation 2 while Muramasa was released on Nintendo Wii. Both games feature beautiful hand drawn graphics that still beat out other 2D games today.They both have compelling stories and well composed soundtracks. Unlike Muramasa, Odin Sphere is not easily found at local game stores. Having a downloadable version available may give gamers the chance to play this RPG that they wouldn't otherwise find on store shelves.
