The-O Network - Figures

Akibahobby reports that figure maker Kotobukiya will be releasing Kotonoha Katsura from School Days. She will also come with the fan favorite duffel bag of death. Sadly, she will not be holding a knife but a cellphone. For those who are not familiar with the series, School Days originally was an eroge visual novel adapted into an anime featuring a school romance story. The series ended in a twist which was unaired due to the nature of the content, but was found on the DVD release. She was be released later this year in Summer 2009.

[Max Factory] 1/6 PVC Yoko Litner

Unveiled at the Tokyo International Anime Fair, Max Factory will be releasing a realistic rendition of Yoko Litner from Tengen no Toppa Gurren Lagann. The figure is absolutely stunning though some fans may wish that they had chosen to use the anime face. Maybe Max Factory will include an interchangeable head?

There are currently no price or release date available but as soon as that information is released we'll let you know. Judging by the scale, I would have to estimate the figure to be around or at least be $100.

[Wave] PVC Kagami and Tsukasa

Figure maker Wave brings us another set of Lucky Star figures (previous Konata and Kanata), this time it's the Hiiragi twins. Measuring at 1/12 scale, these will be pretty small figures but for true fans of the series this is the best so far. Kagami and Tsukasa will be released this August retailing around 3,500 yen each or about 6,800 yen as a set. Konata and Kanata will be released in late July for around 10,000 yen as a set and around 4,700 yen each. Personally I prefer Wave's previous miko (priestess) version.

UPDATE: More information and pictures can be found here.

Reko (Reco) from the hit arcade shooter series Mushihime-sama developed by Cave, is finally getting a full PVC incantation. Some of you may remember seeing her on various ads and promos sitting on top of a beetle. I wish they kept her hair lavender instead of the translucent color. Max Factory has chosen her outfit from the second game, and will be releasing her in June 2009.

[Max Factory] Mikuru Grown Up

A surprise for the fans, this is the fourth Asahina Mikuru figure from the Melancholy of Haurhi Suzumiya made by Max Factory. The figure will come with 2 different faces with different expressions an interchangeable arm for her to expose the mole on the inside of her cleavage as seen in anime.

I don't believe she will be castoffable; however, if you look closely at the pictures you will notice something that appears to be a seamline on the inside of her shirt collar. My best bet would be that her shirt is probably made from stretchy material similar to the one found on Max Factory's Wendy figure from Gun X Sword.
