Hiroki Chiba Interview @ PAX West 2016

Hiroki Chiba began his career at Square Enix in 1993, where he assisted in the creation of FINAL FANTASY VI. He was also the Event Planner on the CHRONO TRIGGER and FINAL FANTASY series. After working on the development of the character Vincent from FINAL FANTASY VII, Chiba became the Scenario Writer and Event Director for DIRGE of CERBERUS -FINAL FANTASY VII-. Additionally, he has worked on the event scenes and the scenario for titles including FINAL FANTASY VII, FINAL FANTASY VIII, FINAL FANTASY X, FINAL FANTASY TYPE-0 and LIGHTNING RETURNS: FINAL FANTASY XIII. Since then, Chiba has continued to work on the overall direction and scenarios for many titles.

Itaru Hinoue Interview @ Anime Expo 2015

During Anime Expo 2015, The-O Network had a chance to interview VisualArts/Key illustrator/character designer Itaru Hinoue whose extensive portfolio includes AIR, Rewrite and more recently her own project Holy Breaker! Hiromi Kato Interview @ Sakura-Con 2015

While in attendance at Sakura-Con 2015, we here at The-O Network had the privilege to interview long-time animation director and character designer Hiromi Kato (Digimon: The Movie (U.S.), Death Note (TV), Di Gi Charat (TV), Azumanga Daioh (TV), Ah! My Goddess (TV), Revolutionary Girl Utena (TV), and Guilty Crown (TV)), and asked him a few questions regarding his involvement in the upcoming anime adaptation of the popular smartphone series Chain Chronicle. P19 Interview @ AOD 2015

While in attendance at Anime on Display (AOD) 2015 in San Francisco, we had an exclusive opportunity to interview the up-and-coming Japanese illustrator P19. Known for her rich and colorful character design work with the visual novel company Light, she has served under their Sweetlight brand and has also done numerous illustrations for their series of novels. This includes Vamp on the Dead Line with author Madoka Igami and Himegitsune no Servant with author Kasuga Mikage, as well as doujinshi under the circle name, "practice." Daigo Ikeno Interview @ Japan Expo USA 2014

Luna Tsukigami Interview @ AX 2014

As the leader of the doujin group Lunatic Circle, Luna Tsukigami's beautiful m-style artwork has appeared in numerous books and magazines in Japan. In 2007, the prolific artist released his own self-published book, "Moeru Headphone Reader 2007" and later on published the "Moeru Headphone Reader 2013" in 2013. An English version of the 2013 book was recently supported by enthusiasts worldwide, under the banner of Sekai Project, on kickstarter and will be released later this year. The artist stopped by Anime Expo 2014 to greet his American fans and we were lucky enough to catch him for a one-on-one interview. Come with us as we find out all about the inspiration behind his book, stylized through the use of his digital pens.

Noizi Ito Interview (The Guided Fate Paradox)

Noizi Ito is a popular illustrator and character designer. Probably best known for designing the characters in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and Shakugan no Shana, we were lucky in 2010 to interview her during her first official visit to the United States. We caught up with her at this year's Anime Expo to talk a little about her first internationally released game, The Guided Fate Paradox.

Kazuchika Kise Interview @ AX 2013

At this year's Anime Expo, we got to speak briefly with Kazuchika Kise about his directorial debut with Ghost in the Shell: Arise. Mr. Kise has worked on a number of titles as a character designer and/or animation director on series including xxxHOLIC, Patlabor, Blood, and of course Ghost in the Shell. Yusuke Kozaki Interview @ Japan Expo USA 2013

One of the first exciting guest announced for Japan Expo was character designer and mangaka Yusuke Kozaki who also goes under the pen name of KYMG. Like most American fans, I had first noticed his uniquely stylish art from the 2005 anime Speed Grapher. Mr Kozaki's presence in America was solidified with his video game character design work for the over the top stylish No More Heroes series and more recently, the best seller Fire Emblem Awakening. Apart from his character design works, Mr. Kozaki has created several short mangaka series in during his career including his more recent title, Donyatsu.

In the short time we were able to speak with him, hear a little about his art preferences, where the story for Donyatsu came from along with an inside look at the character creation process for Fire Emblem Awakening!
