[COSPA] Fate Testarossa Movie Version

Written by
cospa_fate_01So in-line with Alter's recent release of their 1/7 Fate Testarossa Movie Version PVC Figure, COSPA was quick to also put out their own version.  Though less advertised, COSPA's version is definitely something you do not want to miss.  This figure by COSPA has it’s advantages over the Alter release, as the entire figure is not suspended in the air.  Though lacking in the awesome pose, Fate’s cape is still something to behold.  The facial expression is a lot more serene as Fate is captured in a non-action scene.

It has been years since a war called the Seven Year War ended and peace finally arrived in the land.

The story begins with Zero the protagonist making his living as an independent contractor. One day he is investigating a certain site. It is there that he finds a mysterious stone infused with a powerful magic known as the Core Elemental. As he takes on more and more jobs to investigate other locations, he discovers more and more Core Elemental stones. On his travels, he begins to encounter the Human Genomes—new creatures created by God to replace mankind.

One thirsts for power.

One desires only the eradication of mankind.

And one hopes to retrieve what he has lost.

To get what they desire, each one appears before our protagonist. Through his battles against the Human Genomes, our protagonist begins to learn the truth about the secret of his birth, and before long finds himself at the very place where he was born…

Finally, he will learn the truth of his existence…

Anime Expo 2010 Report

For three years running, Anime Expo has taken place in the Los Angeles Convention Center. It would seem that AX would get in the groove of things and host the most successful convention yet. Instead, this year was marred by changes in management, hikes in fees for merchants, and almost an overload of guests. The result was disorganization and inconsistency in almost every possible event, an exhibit hall that was only about half the size of Anime Expo 2008’s, and problematic scheduling that forced attendees to choose between different guests they wanted to see.

There were still positives to this year’s Anime Expo, though. While many directors and character designers appeared last year, the theme this year was certainly idols and voice actors. From the idol group AKB48 to Macross Frontier stars Megumi Nakajima and May’n to veteran voice actor Yui Horie and Eri Kitamura, AX 2010 had something to satisfy every fanboy.

From panel coverage to exclusive interviews, read on for The-O Network’s coverage of Anime Expo 2010!

Stay tuned in the coming week as we add more content!

[GSC] Nendoroid Petit Angel Beats! Set 01

Written by

angel_beats_nendo_set01Angel Beats! has seen it's fair share of Nendoroid Petit figures showing up in various magazines.  The August 2010 issue of Dengeki G's magazine comes with a Nendoroid Petit Tenshi figure.  The G's Festival Deluxe Vol. 06 magazine (Angel Beats! Edition) came with a Yuri Nendoroid Petit figure.  But now, finally and officially, Good Smile Company has opened reservations for their first Nendoroid Petit Angel Beats! Set.  This is the first set of possibly three total.  This set features Yuri, Shiina and Yusa.  An odd choice for combination, but none-the-less, still very cute.
