Kotobukiya's New Girl Releases

This month Kotobukiya is expanding their line to include three very cute anime heroines: Fate Testarossa in "everyday wear" from Magical Lyrical Girl Nanoha, Manaka Sage version from To Heart, and Tamaki in red samurai armor also from To Heart. Check out the shots after the jump.

Fresh off of their US tour and the recent release of their best of album OVER AND OVER, Boom Boom Satellites’ song “Shut Up And Explode” is the title theme for season one of the hit anime series Xam’d: Lost Memories, and “Back On My Feet” the theme for the second season.

Given the need for Xam'd to reach both a foreign and a Japanese audience (Boom Boom Satellites is one of only a few Japanese bands to have achieved global popularity) coupled with Director Masayuki Miyaji belief in the bands music to accompany his very unique story, the choice of Boom Boom Satellites makes for a perfect fit.

"We'd had songs used on anime movie soundtracks before, such as APPLESEED (2004) and Vexille (2007)," explains Boom Boom Satellites' bassist/programmer Masayuki Nakano. "But this was the first time we'd been involved in a series. Since the credit sequence was strictly limited to 89 seconds, I had to edit the song down, which was actually really hard work."

"I started with the image of a closed place," explains Boom Boom Satellites' guitar/vocalist Michiyuki Kawashima of his lyrics. "It's really ourselves that explode and break out from that place. Like an egg, something hatches, and afterward we have become something else."

"When they asked us about the project," says Nakano, "we saw the proposal and a one-minute trailer, and even from that we thought, 'This looks big.' We felt it was more like cinema quality."

And now, Boom Boom Satellites’ “BACK ON MY FEET” mp3 and a special Xam’d x Boom Boom Satellites special wallpaper is available for few weeks only on BBS-NET.com

NIS America announced earlier this week the release dates of PandoraHearts and Our Home’s Fox Deity Volume 2. You can nab PandoraHearts on January 25th and Fox Deity on February 22nd both for $59.99. Although that's a high figure, both boxed sets end the series and have a lot of bonus content.

PandoraHearts and Our Home’s Fox Deity Volume 2 come with hard cover art book and 12 episodes in 2 DVDs.

Our Home’s Fox Deity Volume 2 has a bonus disc that contains interviews with Japanese voice actors and actresses. It is 280 minutes in total and sounds like interesting footage for Japanese voice actors/actresses fans.

If you're ready to lay down the cash, you've got two options for some paranormal based fun.

She introduces her self as Kan'u, the legendary warrior known as Guan Yu in historic records, but what's more surprising, is that she is convinced Kazuto is the messenger from Heaven they've been waiting for--the one who will quell the wars enveloping all of China!
