Gaming News (477)

Pokémon Black and Pokemon White are about to be released in Japan and some changes from previous. The game will also have major graphical change with over 600 different pokémon, each having individually created animations. Black and White will most likely be the greatest Pokémon game to date and with so many Pokémon to collect; it will probably keep Pokémon heads playing for many years to come – or at least until the next title releases.

Details Revealed for Criminal Girls

Recent details on Nippon Ichi Software’s (NIS) new game, Criminal Girls, have been released. Four girls have been introduced: Ran, Yuko, Sako, and Shin. Each girl has a certain personality based on sin they have been committed. In addition, the girls are also voiced by an array of Japanese talents. Gamers in North America probably won't get a chance to hear them, unless NIS decides to add Japanese voiceovers. Criminal Girls is turning out to be an interesting take on the RPG genre, combining signature NIS gameplay and an absurd amount of fan service.

Gyakuten Kenji 2, sequel to Gyakuten Kenji or Ace Attorney Investigations, has just been announced. It will feature a new gameplay system, which has yet to be detailed. The only clue that’s been given is that key word for it is “chess.” Perhaps this means players will begin “trapping” enemies’ faulty logic until they get a “checkmate?” Otherwise, gameplay doesn’t seem to change much. More after the jump.

With the release of Final Fantasy Legends in Japan, the unique job system has been revealed. As in many Final Fantasy games, players can switch between various jobs like warrior, monk, and mage; however, unlike those games, Final Fantasy Legends allows players to retain skills from various jobs. As gamers battle through the story, they obtain ability points (AP). The more AP players gain, the more skills they will learn. This unique job system will allow players to customize their characters, regardless of job limitations.
