As one of the four titles for Anime Mirai, the Young Animator Training Project, Little Witch Academia revolves around a young girl named Akko Kagari who joins a famous witch academy after she was inspired b the great witch Shiny Chariot when she was younger. The short twenty-six minute episode, which has been compared to by fans with Harry Potter and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, is currently available online on Crunchyroll and on TRIGGER's official YouTube page. For fans who will be attending Anime Expo 2013, there will be a Little Witch Academia Fan Event on 7/6 at 2PM featuring script writer Masahiko Otsuka. The event will be open to fifty randomly selected fans who enter acttil's online email contest. Talented up-and-coming voice actress Megumi Han (Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal II, The Last of Us), who voiced Akko Kagari, will also be hosting her own panel on 7/5 at 12:15 PM.
