Amuse Creative Studio, Inc. just announced a brand-new, near-future sci-fi anime called RE:BEL ROBOTICA, and it drops us right into Shibuya, Tokyo, circa 2050. In this version of the city, Mixed Reality (MR) is everywhere, making it officially the "happiest" place on earth—until a mysterious girl named Lily shows up and threatens to flip that perfect social order on its head. The show is part of the AAO Project, a big team-up between AOI Pro., Amuse, and Miliagon Studio to launch original stories for fans worldwide.

The crew behind this is seriously stacked. Shin Onuma (Princession Orchestra, Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya) is directing, with PSYCHO-PASS veteran Ryo Yoshigami handling the story and series composition. Character designs are by Mika Pikazo, and the legendary Yuki Kajiura (Sword Art Online, Demon Slayer) is on board for the theme and insert songs. With SILVER LINK. running the animation, the hype is already building, especially after a gorgeous first PV dropped showcasing the show's futuristic look and world-building.
