Designer Yoshiyaki Koizumi and Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa showed off a brief glimpse of the game in action. The game is very colorful and shows Princess Peach accompanied by a small star-like creature which she then transforms into a ribbon and uses it to change her outfit.

Princess Peach is also seen running through a stage that's set up to be a town and uses a ribbon to attack a creature that is blocking her way. She then uses the ribbon to attack a tree prop that opens up a hidden door to a different part of the stage.

The game is currently titled Princess Peach game for the Nintendo Switch and will launch sometime next year. Additionally Princess Peach will also be playable in Super Mario Bros. Wonder, the new 2D side-scrolling Super Mario game for Switch.
