Capcom's Resident Evil Requiem (RE9) is officially confirmed for a major showing at The Game Awards on December 11th, with host Geoff Keighley promising a "terrifying new look."

Despite the impending launch, details remain scarce. We know the game stars new protagonist Grace Ashcroft and is rumored to combine traditional mansion horror with modern survival action. The Game Awards reveal is most anticipated for settling the persistent rumors surrounding the possible inclusion of franchise veteran Leon S. Kennedy as a second playable character, or for providing a deep dive into the unique stalker enemy briefly glimpsed in prior teasers. Resident Evil Reqiuem is set to launch on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Nintendo Switch 2. 

The Game Awards will stream this Thursday at 4:30 PM PST.
