Japanese rock band King Gnu, best known for their collaboration with the anime Jujutsu Kaisen, has released the official music video for their latest single “SO BAD,” written as the theme song for Universal Studios Japan’s “ZOMBIE de DANCE” attraction at Halloween Horror Nights.

Directed by OSRIN of PERIMETRON and produced by A-1 Pictures (Sword Art Online, Solo Leveling, Your Lie in April), the video marks King Gnu’s first fully animated music video, featuring the four members in a fast-paced, original story filled with vivid action and personality. The track itself captures the band’s signature “Tokyo New Mixture Style,” evolving it into a bold anthem fit for the Halloween season.

Frontman Daiki Tsuneta expressed his excitement about the project, calling it a dream come true to see King Gnu’s hand-drawn animation brought to life by OSRIN and A-1 Pictures. Since its debut, the music video has already surpassed 7 million views in just one week, continuing to gain momentum as a standout project on its own.
