
On March 16, an announcement has been made during Dengeki Bunko Spring Festival 2014 that a new anime series of Durarara!! will be in production.

With their highly successful animated series Kill la Kill rapidly approaching its inevitable conclusion, it was announced on the wraparound jacket of Kota Nozomi's In?-Battle wa Nichij?-kei no Naka de (Inou-Battle in the Usually Daze) sixth volume that Studio Trigger will be adapting the light novel series as their next animation project.

After teasing a possible return of Wonder Momo earlier this month, Bandai Namco has finally revealed their plans for an upcoming PC and Android game by WayForward (Duck Tales: Remastered) in addition to an anime series from ShiftyLook and Graphinica. The series will be directed by Yutaka Kagawa and will be streamed through Crunchyroll.

On Monday, a new website for the anime project selector infected WIXOSS was opened to reveal a brand-new project from Takuya Sat? (Steins;Gate, Armitage III, Strawberry Marshmallow), who will be directing, and Mari Okada (anohana, Hana-Saku Iroha, Amazing Twins) who will be working on the series' scripts. Animation will be done by J.C. Staff with Kyuta Sakai (When They Cry- Higurashi, Steins; Gate) working on the character designs.

Rupert Sanders, director of Snow White and the Huntsman, has been chosen to direct the live-action adaptation of Ghost in the Shell. This project drifted around for sometime now since DreamWorks Studios bought the rights for the property in 2008. The script for the live-action adaptation will be written by William Wheeler (The Reluctant Fundamentalist, The Hoax).
