With a year after the second expansion Stormblood behind them, Warriors of Light across the globe are looking forward to the announcement of the next expansion to Final Fantasy XIV at the Final Fantasy Fan Festival 2018. The first event will be held at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas from November 16 – 17 (Friday-Saturday). Subsequent Fan Festivals will take place in Paris (February 2019) and will finish in Tokyo (March 2019).

Visit the Square Enix booth in the Entertainment Hall to meet Takaaki Kai, the global producer of STAR OCEAN: ANAMNESIS, a free-to-play action RPG launching July 2018 for iOS and Android devices, and Yuno Mizusawa. Yuno is a Japanese gravure idol well versed in video games of all genres. She will make an appearance at Anime Expo 2018 as the official cosplayer of Evelysse from STAR OCEAN: ANAMNESIS, a free-to-play mobile game launching in July 2018.

After watching Dying Light 2's spectacular E3 trailer, it's immediately clear that this is a very different game than its predecessor. During an extended demo behind closed doors of Dying Light 2 at E3 this week, we learned from the lead game designer, Tymon Smektala about how the team rethought everything about parkour, melee combat, and story narrative to create something very ambitious, but shows a lot of potential.
Nintendo had quite a setup this year with a playable build of the new Smash Bros. Ultimate, but it also had an elaborate booth for attendees to see some very cool Smash Bros props.
