Aniplex Online Fest's first day crosses-over with FunimationCon's second day on FunimationCon's second channel. Aniplex will also be broadcast on their own channels. The fun begins at 930AM PST.
As you might expect a couple of Aniplex's landmark series will be present. Sword Art Online starts the day off with a double-shot feature including a 10th Anniversary Special Program about the music of SAO and the legendary Yuki Kajiura. This is followed by Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Magia Record with seiyuu Momo Asakura and Emiri Kato, along with Aniplex's Yusuke Toyama on hand. Newly-animated properties Warlords of Sigrdrifa, Super Hxeros, and Millionaire Detective get a spotlight too. Musically there will be DJ Kazu, Sphere, and a set of featured performances from SACRA MUSIC FES 2019 will round out the day. Finally, day one will end with an Aniplex 15th Anniversary Anime Marathon. 25 episodes from 25 series that will carry you through to the beginning of day two's schedule.
Day two kicks off with The Irregular at Magic High School and to no one's surprise, Fate. The Promised Neverland, CloverWorks, Hiroyuki Sawano (!!), and more will follow. One thing I want to point out are some of Sony's online music programs. Tokyo LosT Tracks, WACAVA Project, and THE FIRST TAKE. If you've never listened to any of them, do it, and especially THE FIRST TAKE. One of the best things about live music is that it can sound radically different from what you're used to while still obviously being the same song.
More new series like The Day I Became a God, The Misfit of Demon King Academy (based on a light novel) also get a slot. The ever-popular Cells at Work and Kimetsu no Yaiba will also have panels featuring cast and staff.
Did I mention that Sally Amaki and Maxwell Powers will help MC?
Aniplex, in conjunction with Right Stuf, will also be selling a bevy of goods. The things you would normally buy in person will be available for purchase online. Figures, cushions, apparel, and more.
