April is becoming a little crowded. We have SiM and Crystal Lake on tour, Babymetal with two dates in San Francisco, and now, YOASOBI.

UPDATE: the Coachella schedule has been released and YOASOBI will be on the Mojave stage at 8:20PM for a fourty-five minute set. They'll be followed by Hatsune Miku at 9:50PM for her own fourty-five minute set.

They were previously announced for Coachella (which takes place in Southern California) and are taking the opportunity to tack on a couple of solo concerts in San Francisco and Los Angeles while they're in the area.

YOASOBI is probably best known for last year's hit song "Idol" from the anime Oshi no Ko. I heard it broadcast in public almost every day of my trip to Japan in June, and that was a trip spanning half of Japan going from Tokyo, to Fukuoka, and back. The group has also contributed the songs "Kaibutsu" for Beastars, "Shukufuku" for Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury, and "Yusha" from Frieren.

This is not their first set of US performances as they also appeared at last year's Head in the Clouds festival.

4/12 Indio, CA - Coachella
4/18 Los Angeles, CA - Shrine Theater
4/21 San Francisco, CA - The Warfield
4/19 Indio, CA - Coachella

Tickets are available at AXS.
