Plenty was revealed at Sony's press conference at E3. But without a doubt the most anticipated news revolved around the company's next generation console - the PlayStation 4 (PS4). Promised to be shown for the first time, how would the aesthetic design of the external hardware fair? How about the price of the system? Would it be competitive with Microsoft's Xbox One and be reasonable for consumers? As I awaited the start of the conference, eying a laptop screen from my living quarters, my adrenaline was already running high to say the least. If NIS America's recent release of Black Rock Shooter: the Game wasn't enough to satisfy the legion of Hatsune Miku video game fans, SEGA has announced that they will be bringing the PlayStation 3 exclusive Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F to North America and Europe this August.

Tecmo Koei has revealed their plans for E3 2013, confirming localizations for the JRPG title Atelier Meruru Plus: The Apprentice of Arland Plus and strategy title Toukiden for the PlayStation Vita, as well as a release date for Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate in the West.

JAST USA to Announce Nitroplus' Steins;Gate at Anime Expo 2013?

It's that time again! Every year at this time, it seems as though JAST USA teases its loyal fanbase with the possibility of a localization of Nitroplus' award-winning Steins;Gate visual novel before Anime Expo. According to a series of Tweets last month, it appears that JAST USA may be preparing an official statement regarding the realistic possibility of the aforementioned game at Anime Expo 2013.
Recently announced by Arc System Works, Guilty Gear Xrd Sign is the next installment of the hard rock, anime-style fighting game series. It will be breaking new grounds in the Guilty Gear series by introducing a 3D engine into the mix. By taking advantage of Epic Games' Unreal Engine, the aim, presumably, will be to enhance the experience of the Guilty Gear brand. Escalating it towards greater heights of aesthetic and gameplay quality.
XSEED transitions into Marvelous USA, while Father of PlayStation becomes AQL Director

It has been a big week for Marvelous AQL and XSEED. Recently announced by Marvelous AQL, XSEED Games, the publisher behind the localization of games such as Ys Origin, Ragnarok Odyssey and The Last Story, has been converted from XSEED JKS, Inc. into Marvelous USA. This new formed company will oversee all the company's US operations.

Urobuchi Gen's Saya no Uta-The Song of Saya Finally Goes Golden Master

Originally announced for release back in Fall 2011, you know before the world ended twice over, Nitroplus' Cthulu-inspired visual novel Saya no Uta- The Song of Saya has finally gone golden master according to a press release from English visual novel distributor JAST USA. Announced initially as part of a package with another Nitroplus title Hanachirasu, the cult masterpiece will finally be shipping from JAST USA uncensored and DRM-free starting early May just in time for convention season.

Ltd., a major visual novel distributor in Japan, released an officially translated English version of their 2004 kinetic novel Planeterian - Dream of Little Star - for the iOS system.
