ATLUS' Persona 4 Arena Now Available on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3

Starting today, Persona fans will have an entirely new way to enjoy evoking their personas with Arc System Work's Persona 4 Arena on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. Featuring characters from Persona 3 FES and Persona 4 in a one-on-one fighter, including Yukiko, Aigis, and everyone's favorite Teddie, the game is a sequel to both games taking place two years after FES and two months after Persona 4.

About the show:
Daikichi, a 30-year-old bachelor, meets the 6-year-old girl Rin at his grandfather Souichi's funeral. It is there that Daikichi and his family learn that Rin is Souichi's direct descendant. When the topic of who would care for her comes up, the family shirks all responsibility of raising this "shameful" child. Reacting emotionally, Daikichi declares his intention to take Rin into his home. This is the story of two very different individuals coming together under one roof and learning what it means to be a family, an experience that teaches Daikichi what it means to be a parent.

LiSA's Upcoming Single "Crossing Field" to be Released Later This Month

Fresh off of her 2012 Anime Expo debut, Japanese pop singer LiSA's fifth single "crossing field," the opening to Aniplex's Sword Art Online, will be shipping from online retailers starting August 14th with digital downloads coming via iTunes and Amazon on August 21st. Other tracks on the single includes "itsuka no tegami,""KISS me PARADOX," and an instrumental version of "crossing field." LiSA's previous single, "Oath Sign" peaked at the number five position on the Japanese Oricon chart in 2011.

Crunchyroll Launches Streaming Anime And Asian Drama App On PS3

Starting today, Crunchyroll owners will be able to start enjoying their anime and Asian dramas on their PlayStation 3s the same day as on their PCs as part of the company's effort to extend their services. Other devices and applications where their services can be viewed includes the free iPad and iPhone application, the Android application, Amazon Kindle Fire, Windows Phone, Google TV, Roku, Boxee, Vizio VIA, and WD TV Live.
No Japanese Audio on Persona 4 the Animation Blu-ray Release

Earlier today, North American anime distributor Sentai Filmworks informed press outlets that their upcoming release of Persona 4 The Animation on Blu-ray will not include the original Japanese audio dub lowering their original MSRP from $69.98 to $59.98. Fans of the series who still want to hear the Japanese dub will have to settle for the DVD version which will include both tracks in addition to Japanese episode commentary. The English version will feature the original voice actors from the PlayStation 2 title including Yuri Lowenthal and Michelle Ann Dunphy.

Over the weekend, NIS America announced their plans to distribute Studio Deen's anime adaptation of 07th Expansion's visual novel Umineko: When They Cry. The third title in the When They Cry series, Uminko: When They Cry was preceded by Higurashi no Koro ni and Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.
