LiSA’s “Another Great Day” 2025 Tour Brings the Energy to L.A.

J-pop superstar LiSA is back in the U.S.! After her last appearance at San Diego Comic-Con in 2024, she’s returned for her “Another Great Day” tour — and what better time than during her birthday month in June?

Kicking things off in New York, LiSA is making her way across the Americas, with stops including Los Angeles and ending in Mexico City. Her LA show took place at the brand-new YouTube Theater in Inglewood, CA, a sleek 6,000-seat venue that was nearly packed with excited fans ready to sing their hearts out.

As soon as the lights dimmed and the music hit, LiSA burst onto the stage with a fan-favorite: “oath sign,” the iconic opening theme from Fate/Zero. The crowd slowly rose to their feet, waving their colorful light sticks in sync with the beat, and the energy in the room instantly came alive.

Wasting no time, LiSA jumped into her next hit, “Catch the Moment” from Sword Art Online: Ordinal Scale. The audience responded with loud cheers and nonstop clapping, feeding off her infectious energy as she warmed up the crowd.

By her third song, “Datte Atashi no Hero” from My Hero Academia Season 2, the concert hit full throttle. With her trademark smile and boundless energy, LiSA had fans pumping their fists and shouting the lyrics with her. Even her band got in on the fun, joining her at the front of the stage for a quick, spirited routine.

After her opening songs, LiSA paused to greet the L.A. audience, offering a warm self-introduction and asking the crowd a few fun questions. She then split the room into two groups for a friendly cheering competition, creating a fun and inclusive vibe that brought fans together.

One touching moment came when LiSA invited a young fan on stage, sitting her down in a chair and singing “GL” with genuine affection, wrapping the moment in heartfelt emotion. The girl smiled throughout, clearly enjoying the once-in-a-lifetime experience.

A brief interlude gave LiSA time for a quick costume change, while her pianist filled the venue with a solo performance. When she reappeared, she wore a beautiful red kimono and carried a traditional Japanese umbrella for her emotional performance of “Akeboshi.” With sakura petals as a symbol and deep red lighting, it was one of the most visually striking parts of the night.

The emotional tone continued with “Unlasting” from Sword Art Online: Alicization, before moving into the powerful ballad “Homura” from Demon Slayer. The combination of the scenes playing in the background, her vocals, and memories from the anime made for a moving moment that resonated with many in the audience.

Later in the show, LiSA brought the energy back up with “Realize,” featured in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse, followed by “Reawakener” from the anime Solo Leveling. Then came the highlight of the night for many: “Gurenge,” her hit song from Demon Slayer. As expected, the crowd erupted as soon as the opening notes hit. Light sticks waved, voices rang out, and fans sang every word.

After a powerful finish, LiSA and her band took a bow and left the stage — but the crowd wasn’t ready to go home. Chants of “LiSA!” and “Encore!” quickly brought her back for one last round.

She returned with a smile, introduced her band members, and even shared a look at her birthday cupcake tower. After taking a photo with the audience, she performed “Crossing Field,” the opening theme from Sword Art Online — a song that clearly held a lot of nostalgia for fans.

To close out the night, she performed “Best Day,” running through the aisles to connect with fans up close — high-fiving, waving, and posing for quick photos. It was a personal and joyful end to an unforgettable show.

Before saying goodbye, LiSA left the audience with one final message:

“Zettai mata aou ne” — “Let’s definitely meet again.”

And with a show like this, there’s no doubt fans will be waiting for that next time.
