Todays PlayStation State of play shared a deeper look at the horrors awaiting players in Resident Evil Requiem. Releasing on February 27, 2026, the title marks a bold step for the franchise, offering a dual-protagonist narrative and a flexible camera system (1st/3rd person) to suit any playstyle.
The story follows FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft as she investigates a series of mysterious deaths under the guidance of her supervisor, Nathan Dempsey. Her journey leads her to Emily, a mysterious girl found in the Rhodes Hill Chronic Care Center, and places her on a collision course with Victor Gideon—a former Umbrella researcher linked to the T-Virus. Alongside her, Leon S. Kennedy returns to handle the high-stakes action the series is known for.

Resident Evil Requiem will be available on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, Steam, Epic Games Store, and GeForce NOW.
