Today’s Nintendo Direct debuted new Switch 2 gameplay for Resident Evil Requiem, the ninth mainline entry in the storied survival horror series, launching February 27, 2026. Available on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, the game follows legendary agent Leon S. Kennedy and FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft through an intense narrative. For the first time in the series, players can freely switch between first and third-person perspectives, blending heart-pounding action with classic survival horror.

Capcom also announced the first-ever Resident Evil amiibo figures for Leon and Grace, arriving this summer. Pre-orders for the Standard and Deluxe editions are live now, with the Deluxe version offering exclusive bonuses like five costumes, four weapon skins, and unique screen filters. These collectibles and digital editions provide fans with even more ways to immerse themselves in the series' latest whirlwind journey.
