A few days ago, Queen Bee was announced for Washington's premiere anime convention, Sakuracon. Today, word of a stand-alone concert spread. The location will be Los Angeles's Regent Theater in downtown Los Angeles and will take place on April 11.

Queen Bee was formed in 2009 by vocalist Avu-chan and after gaining popularity, signed with Sony Music in 2011. They have released a total of eight albums, with their most recent, 12D ("Juni Jigen"), having just been released at the beginning of February 2023.  In Japan, the group is known as "Ziyoou-vachi."

You may better recognize them from the theme songs for Tokyo Ghoul (ending theme HALF), Dororo (opening theme Kaen), and most recently, Chainsaw Man (ending theme VIOLENCE).

Tickets go on sale February 21 at 10AM PST. Tickets are $30, plus fees, and will be available from Ticketmaster.

It's currently unknown whether or not they'll be holding any other shows while they're here in America but it's entirely possible that a stop on the east coast is warranted to pair with the two west coast events. All the same, it's also entirely possible that the band will fly right back to Japan from the west coast. We'll keep an eye out for any future announcements.

4/7/23-4/9/23 Seattle, WA - SakuraCon (exact date TBD)
4/11/23 Los Angeles, CA - The Regent Theater
