BAND-MAID makes their long-awaited return to America, but with a caveat.
This time around, the tour is much more compact compared to 2023's and only has six US shows plus one MX show, roughly a third the number that the previous tour had. Mainstays like LA and NY are of course included, but missing are San Francisco, Seattle, and many others. The wide-spread 2022 and 2023 tours might have been a little ambitious but this seems like too much of a contraction.
BAND-MAID has actually been touring the world since March of this year, starting in Hong Kong, and then pulling off a trio of Japan dates in the Kanto area before setting off for Europe. Upon their return, they made some farther stops in Japan including Hokkaido, Kobe, and Fukuoka.
There's one Taiwan show in September before the band comes to America. The US tour kicks off in Chicago and heads east to New York and Atlanta before going west to Dallas, Los Angeles, Phoenix, and Mexico City.
The penultimate show will be at Budokan on November 13 and 14, and I have tickets for the final one on the 14th already. I'm actually having to leave right after Umamusume in LA to fly to Japan for it.
Tickets are onsale now, so go get them.
