Before the Top 8 portion of the Guilty Gear: Strive tournament at EVO 2022, Daisuke Ishiwatari joined the stage at Mandalay Bay to announce that Bridget will be the first season 2 DLC character for the title. This will be Bridget’s first appearance since Guilty Gear XX Accent Core +R.

During EVO 2022, Capcom showed off new trailers for Kimberly and Juri in Street Fighter VI and the inclusion of James Chen and Tasty Steve for the in-game commentary mode. Kimberly is a brand new character that uses ninja techniques and, according to Capcom, “blends together her skills as a ninja with her love for ‘80s pop culture.” Juri returns and showcases many returning moves from both Street Fighter V and Street Fighter IV.

Ahead of EVO 2022, Tom Cannon, Senior Director for Project L, Riot’s upcoming 2D fighter, has confirmed that the title will be free-to-play. In addition, Cannon also referred viewers on the video to check out the team’s latest blog post, which also shows off a new character, Illaoi. League of Legends and Legends of Runeterra players will already be familiar with this character.
Melty Blood: Type Lumina continues its practice of free DLC characters with two highly anticipated characters, Neco-Arc and Mash Kyrielight. Both characters are scheduled to be available this summer, and the announcement on Twitter tells fans that there will be two more free characters coming this winter.
