Instead of Tekken 7, Tekken producer Katsuhiro Harada announced Tekken Tag Tournament 2. It will follow in its predecessor, Tekken Tag Tournament’s footsteps and include two-on-two action between popular Tekken characters. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 will include all the gameplay changes that have been introduced from Tekken 4 to Tekken 6, including multitier stages and walls. In addition, by choosing specific team combinations, players will gain access to unique tag attacks. Tekken Tag Tournament 2 is set for a summer 2011 arcade release. No word yet on a console release, but at least it beats out the 2012 projections for Street Fighter X Tekken. Trailer after the jump.
