The colored stock pictures are popping up on Japanese figure retailer websites everywhere of the 1/8 scale Asa Shigure by Kotobukiya from the emotional romance comedy series Shuffle!
Previously seen as an unpainted prototype at this summer's Wonderfest, the sculpt is amazingly detailed especially the should strap buckles, though the hair sculpt from the side angles looks a bit bulky.
The figure has a great resemblance to the character unlike Alter's offering.
The paint job looks a bit messy at places, but overall it's good to see Kotobukiya working on adding highlights and shadows by airbrushing.
This figure will be released around January 2009 for approximately 6,800 yen.
More pictures after the jump.

Quick update, most of the original URLs have been restored. Videos have been successfully migrated over and is up and running.

Network Directory and Figure Database should be back by next week.
Probably one of the more exciting news to come out of the mostly gundam orientated convention CharaFest last week was the showing of two new Yoko Ritona figures from the anime series Gurren Lagann by figure maker Alter.
The first will be Yoko wearing her updated clothing after the timeskip with her jacket estimated to be released in 2009.
The second will be of Yoko in her teaching outfit scheduled to be released around March 2009. Both figures currently have undecided prices and are 1/8 scale.
Been waiting for a decent "timeskipped/pre-spaced" Yoko figure but I will wait for the painted pictures before deciding.
Welcome to The-O Network Online 3.0 Orca Build! We've been working hard over the last months getting this version of the site ready. We are aware of many problems on the site and we will be addressing them in the next couple of weeks. Here's a quick rundown of the more significant bugs we are aware of:
Broken/Missing Pages/Links
We apologize to all our visitors as currently all the old links are broken; however, they are still on the site under a different URL. We will be addressing this issue over the next couple of weeks and hopefully be able to provide a fix.
RSS Feed Change
To all our RSS Feed subscribers, we have changed the URL to our feed. Though it may be inconvienient, we are currently working a newer feed so it may be wise to wait a bit.
Network Directory/Figure Directory/Forums Missing
The new forums should be up shortly in the coming week, as for the Network and Figure Directory, we are currently revising both sections and will provide an update to their progress at a later date.
Old news by now, but since most of the population seems oblivious, a new season of Full Metal Alchemist has been confirmed in volume 20 of the manga.
Supposedly a minor slipup occured in regards to a possible sequel at Anime Expo 2008. A couple weeks later, papers surfaced online listing staff members of BONES studio working on a new project. Most notably listing Yasuhiro Irie (Full Metal Alchemist Animator) as the the Director for "Fullmetal 2."
Shortly after, Mashahiko Minami President of BONES denies the authenticity of the papers, stating that a full internal investigation would ensue.

Brazil took home first place this year with China as the runner up. Japan's Osaka team had an impressive yaoi skit so fan girls may want to take heed. Korea chose to have 2 male representatives
You can watch the videos and view more pictures at their site here . Bewarned that for some reason they chose not to record the audio for the performances; instead, they added their own track.
We have included some other videos with the original audio inside.
In an overwhelming short amount of time, we were barraged with comments from readers regarding the validity of the press release made by NIS America.
We sent them an e-mail in regards to your concerns and recieved the following reply. We hope this clears up any confusion from the previous press release.
That's right folks, it's that time again and the Summer Wonder Festival has stated! We'll be bringing you all the latest information on the newest figures and toys as usual. So far you've probably already heard there was an escaltor accident during opening and over 50 people suffered minor injuries.
As usual, please remember that we take no credit for any of the pictures as we are only collecting and organizing all of them.
Check back this post frequently for updates.
Received the press release yesterday, NIS America will be bringing the hit sim-RPG Artonelico 2 to the US this December for the Playstation 2.
Full press release and pictures inside.
(Update 1 & 2 removed by editor)
UPDATE 3: Please see NIS America's response and clarifications here .
With approximately 2 week left before one of the largest figure and hobby show, the Summer Wonder Festival, begins, figure maker Daiki Kogyou announced that they will be selling a 1/6 scale rendition of Kanu Unchou from Ikki Tousen. Sadly only 40 kits have been made retailing for 18,000 yen each. I wouldn't be surprised if this gets turned into a PVC figure later due to the popularity of the original art . Definitely keeping my fingers crossed.
More pictures inside.
Odd for me to post this, but apparently the rumors that have been floating online recently about a "MacBook Touch" made by Apple is true. Our inside source (which is pretty much 98% reliable) overheard Apple engineers discussing the topic quite frequently. When the engineers were questioned, they acted dumb pretending not to know about it. Emails were supposedly sent incorrectly out to employees mentioning meetings for engineers regarding the MacBook Touch.
I would love to get one, however, following Apple product trends, I'd stay away from the first generation MacBook Touch like a plague.
Originally an anime and gaming network, we decided to drop gaming from our site during the final planning of t-ono.net. We would once again like to explore that option.
