After seeing it on a hololive-EN livestream, my curiosity got the best of me when it came to wanting to play the Frog Detective series. While I missed the original launch of the series back in 2018, as a fan of visual novels, and 90s adventure games, the quirky blend of witty writing and children’s style illustration immediately drew my attention and I’m glad it did. After having played through the first two games, I can say that this series is a fun and wholesome way to spend a few hours engaging with the series' colorful cast of anthropomorphic characters and of course the detective himself.

Bandai Namco Entertainment Southeast Asia released a new English trailer for Super Robot Wars 30. New to the series, Bandai will be including mecha from Brave Police J-Decker, The King of Kings: GaoGaiGar vs Betterman, Mazinkaiser (INFINITISM), Knight’s & Magic, and SSSS.GRIDMAN.
Super Robot Wars 30 celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Super Robot Wars (Super Robot Wars Taisen) series and will be released on October 28, 2021 for the Nintendo Switch, Playstation 4, and STEAM in Japan and in English speaking territories in Asia. This is also is the first Super Robot Wars title to be released in the United States via STEAM.

I have always had a love-hate relationship with the Disgaea series. At its core, the series has deep and addicting strategy RPG mechanics and more ways than ever to max out your characters to create the most elite party to rule the netherworld. Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny expands all of this and more to its absolute limit. Did I forget to mention the new level cap is 99,999,999?

Developer GameMunchers is bringing some love back to 2D pixel art games with Monsters Outbreak, A fast-paced tower defense hack and slash game.
Publisher Arc System Works and developer Wayforward announced River City Girls Zero, known as Shin Nekkeketsu Koha: Kunio-tachi no Baka in Japan. This localized version will launch on the Nintendo Switch in late 2021, with other platforms to follow shortly. In addition, Limited Run Games announced they would produce a physical version.
