NEMOPHILA's second album, "Seize the Fate," has been officially released as of this month. As is customary, I put a couple of playthroughs through my headphones and speakers before putting words on screen. Quick verdict: worth your listening, and then some.
Way Forward has finally unveiled the launch date for the much anticipated sequel to River City Girls. The game will launch in North America and Europe on December 15th.
Taking place in the heart of downtown San Francisco at Moscone West Center, Fan Expo SF made its debut on Black Friday, November 25th, 2022. Moscone Center has hosted other entertainment shows that have long since departed, such as WonderCon and the PlayStation Experience. Fan Expo is a welcomed return to celebrating pop culture entertainment in San Francisco.
Bay Area fans rejoice, Fan Expo is making its first appearance this weekend November 25th to 27th in the heart of downtown San Francisco. While primarily a comic book and western pop culture (cartoons, movies, tv shows, etc.) convention, Fan Expo has listed they will be hosting a number of fan-favorite American anime voice actors such as Steve Blum, a maid cafe called Made Cafe Mikkusu, anime cosplay meetups, and anime panels. Looking over the current exhibitor directory, a number of them are anime vendors.
Do note, similar to other western conventions, autographs for guests are typically ticketed and often must be purchased separately.
The convention will be easily accessible by public transit as will be hosted in Moscone West Convention Center and will be open from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Friday for Preview Night, 10 a.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on Sunday.
Sabaton just announced that BABYMETAL will accompany them for the European leg of The Tour to End All Tours, beginning in April 2023. They kick things off in the United Kingdom on April 14. BABYMETAL and Lordi will support Sabaton as they make their way across Europe.
Today, NEMOPHILA announced two tours. The first one is Japan, and the second one, and more important for me, is for North America.
Well, technically North America, but more like California and Mexico. One of my friends did point out that it's right before SXSW so we may well see them there too.
We're about a week out from Sacramento's Aftershock Festival, and details and scheduling have been released. Japanese bands BAND-MAID and NEMOPHILA have been announced for 30 minute sets. Expect them to hit hard and heavy in order to make the most of that scant half-hour.
NEMOPHILA's set will be on day 2 at 435 PM at the DWPRESENTS Stage, and BAND-MAID's set will be on day 4 at 310 PM at the Coors Light Stage.
So, this was a night of firsts.
First time for me at the Fox Theater. First time for me to see Epica. First time for one of my friends and concert buddies to see both Epica and Sabaton. Not to mention, the first time I'm seeing Sabaton after a dreadful last two years. The pandemic has not been kind to live concerts, and I've seen many a tour be canceled, postponed, or cut short early. It was a good night. I've always wanted to see Epica, and Sabaton is one of my go-to bands time after time. This show was a natural choice for me.
Ever since River City Girls 2 was announced during last years E3, I have been eager to jump back into its world and see all of its colorful characters and learn all of their stylish moves. Luckily I won’t have to wait long. After playing a 30-minute demo at this year's PAX West I am happy to say, River City Girls 2 is a game I am definitely looking forward to playing.
It’s no surprise that there are many popular multiplayer games like Fortnite or Apex Legends. So what happens when you take a 7v1 multiplayer game and stick the Dragon Ball brand onto it? You get Dragon Ball: The Breakers.
It’s been 4 years since we last saw a small glimpse of Bayonetta 3 at game awards in the form of a small teaser trailer. I am happy to report that Bayonetta is back in action and sexier than ever with new mechanics and over-the-top stylish action. After playing Bayonetta 3 for the first time I am excited to see what has changed.
A couple of months ago, I introduced you to the European bands Nightwish and Beast in Black. This time around, we have one more of the big names of power metal, Sabaton, backed up by the more symphonic Epica. We are currently on the eve of Sabaton's latest American tour, The Tour To End All Tours, which is set to start on September 15. And before the Editor-in-Chief asks, yes, both of these bands are relevant to our coverage here. If you're a power metal fan, you should see these bands. They are well worth the journey, and you'll even learn a thing or two.
During today's Nintendo Direct, Bayonetta 3 was shown off with a brand new 8-minute gameplay trailer detailing some of the new mechanics in the game.
