For those of you who are still looking for ways to help the relief efforts after the recent disaster in Japan, Goodsmile Company just released the preorder details for their latest Nendoroid figurine of Hatsune Miku titled Support Version (Cheering/Cheerleader Version).

This version will be released with the previously released interchangeable faces (normal, singing, and Hatchune Miku face) as well as a new cheering face. Accessories include the onion leek arm, singing arms, pompoms, and a support flag.

The Nendoroid can be preordered on Goodsmile Company's online store from April 8 to April 21, 2011 for 3000 yen, with 1000 yen of the purchase donated to the Red Cross in Japan.

Shipping cost will be 2000 yen per order for Express Mail Service (EMS), so buyers may want to combine orders with friends to save money. Note, you may only purchase 5 of them per person.

The Nendoroid is expected to be released in late July 2011.

FUNimation Entertainment announced today that its previous owner, Navarre Corporation, has sold them to a group of investors for $24 million. The investor group includes Gen Fukunaga, FUNimation's chief executive officer. Navarre Corporation is a distributor of electronic goods and entertainment with a 25 year history. Although FUNimation Entertainment has been sold, Navarre will continue to act as the exclusive distributor. Much more after the jump.

Starting from July 2nd, "FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST the Movie: The Sacred Star of Milos" will have its nationwide release in Japan, announcing that the theme song for the movie will be provided by L'Arc-en-Ciel.

For L'Arc-en-Ciel, this will be their third time to contribute a theme song for FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST. Their song "READY STEADY GO" had been the opening theme song for the smash-hit TV animation series "FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST" in 2004, and "Link" was the theme song for the "FULLMETAL ALCHEMIST the Movie: Conqueror of Shamballa" in 2005.

Anime Spring 2011 List

Spring is here which means another season of exciting new series and continuing series. Food hunting series Toriko makes it's debut as an anime this season and is definitely worth keeping an eye on. Deadman Wonderland is a rather disturbing series of a young boy who was framed and ends up in a Battle Royale style prison for the murder of his entire class. As for continuations, borderline hentai Seikon no Qwaser, The World Only God Knows, and gender bender Maria Holic and Kampfer are all back with a second season.

Gods Eater Burst Review

Gods Eater Burst stands out amongst its monster hunting, Arcana touting brethren with its anime-like visuals and character designs. Instead of monsters, players hunt Aragami beasts in Gods Eater Burst, which roughly translates to the same thing, so players know what they’re getting themselves into. Beyond that though, the gameplay offers little that players haven't seen before and is a mediocre game at best.
