“BanG Dream! 8th☆LIVE” Summer Outdoors 3DAYS Streaming Event on 9/20/20-9/23/20

During the interview conducted as part of the BanG Dream! Cafe Zoom event (click here to check it out), Aimi hinted at the (then upcoming) BanG Dream! 8th☆LIVE which was set for August 21-23. At that time it was still up in the air whether or not it would be held. Smaller lives have gotten through with restricted numbers but the larger events (and BanG Dream! definitely counts as "larger") were being delayed or postponed months out or to the following year. Spoiler: 8th☆LIVE happened.

The concert series was held at Fuji-Q Highland Conifer Forest between 8/21/20 and 8/23/20. This year, you'll be able to watch it in the comfort of your own home! Previously, tape-delayed viewings have been held at various theaters. The San Francisco Bay Area had, if I remember correctly, one small theater running it in San Francisco's Japantown. Sometimes events would have no theaters showing it at all, even in a major metropolitan area like ours. You can imagine how it felt to be out in the comparative boonies with the closest viewing hours from you. Past events had a lot of people either planning road trips or going without.

So yeah, an at-home viewing is a bit of a treat. Even fans in Japan should be interested in this one as the attendance cap for each day was a mere fraction of what was originally planned. Even better, you get a 24 hour window to view each concert.

"BanG Dream! 8th☆LIVE" Summer Outdoors 3DAYS will be split into three parts.

Day 1 is titled "Einheit" and features Roselia (starring Aina Aiba as Yukina Minato, Haruka Kudo as Hikawa Sayo, Yuki Nakashima as Lisa Imai, Megu Sakuragawa as Ako Udagawa, and Kanon Shizaki as Rinko Shirokane）. Day 1 will be available from 9/20/20 9PM JST through 9/21/20 8:59PM JST.

Day 2 is titled "THE DEPTHS" and features RAISE A SUILEN (starring Raychell as Layer, Riko Kohara as LOCK, Natsume as Masking, Reo Kurachi as Pareo, and Risa Tsumugi as ChuChu）. Day 2 will be available from 9/21/20 9PM JST through 9/22/20 8:59PM JST.

Day 3 Special Live "〜Summerly Tone♪〜" features Poppin'Party (starring Aimi as Kasumi Toyama, Sae Otsuka as Tae Hanazono, Rimi Nishimoto as Rimi Ushigome, Ayaka Ohashi as Saaya Yamabuki, and Ayasa Ito as Arisa Ichigawa), Pastel＊Palettes (Ami Maeshima as Aya Maruyama, with RAISE A SUILEN backing), and one of BanG Dream's newest bands, Morfonica (Amane Shindo as Mashiro Kurata, Hina Suguta as Touko Kirigaya, Yuka Nishio as Nanami Hiromachi, mika as Tsukushi Futaba, and Ayasa as Rui Yashio). Day 3 will be available from 9/22/20 9PM JST through 9/23/20 8:59PM JST.
