August 16, 2011 (Cypress, CA) – Bandai Entertainment announced today they would have special events at this year’s J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL in San Francisco, August 27 and 28th.
The J-POP SUMMIT FESTIVAL is a pop culture-themed street fair that covers the grounds of Post Street from Webster to Laguna and the Peace Plaza of Japantown, San Francisco. This year’s festival is hosted by NEW PEOPLE in cooperation with the Japantown Merchants Association.
Bandai Entertainment will have a booth, with a K-ON! Poster giveaway and autograph session with voice actresses Stephanie Sheh, Cristina Vee, Cassandra Lee, Shelby Lindley and performer Karrie Shirou on Sunday August 28th at 1pm! Location: Booth Number 4 on Post Street.

Saturday August 27,
K-ON! Mini-concert and screening
New People Cinema, 5:15-7:00pm
A special K-ON! Event! Voice actresses Cristina Vee (Mio), Cassandra Lee (Ritsu), Shelby Lindley (Tsumugi) and performers Karrie Shirou and Kix will be holding a live mini-concert in the theater auditorium performing fan favorite songs from the first season of K-ON!
Following the mini-concert the theater will host the premiere of the first two episodes from K-ON! Vol. 3 shown on the big screen! This will be followed by a Q&A session with the voice actresses.
Sunday August 28
K-ON! CONCERT
3:15-3:45 at the Peace Plaza Pagoda
Live appearance by STEPHANIE SHEH! (Sunday only)
Stephanie Sheh will join Cristina Vee, Cassandra Lee, Shelby Lindley and Karrie Shirou for a K-ON! Concert featuring fan’s favorite songs from Season one!
VOICE ACTING WORKSHOP
430-6:00, 3rd Floor of New People Cinema
Moderated by Elaine Clark, the founder of Voice One, a San Francisco based voice training and acting school, young professional voice actors including Cristina Vee, Stephanie Sheh, Cassandra Lee, Karrie Shirou, and Shelby Lindley will share their stories of becoming a voice actor and making it all come true!
